Splendid first day's racing yesterday with some top class performances the only disappointment being Denman who never looked up for it and was off the bridle on the way to the start, back at home the horses worked mainly on the grass, all the grass gallops are due to be rolled soon and will then be "put to bed" for the summer, hopefully the riverbank sand gallop will then be used to complement the all-weather.
