Slow Sunday

A fine drying wind or horrible howling gale depending on one's demeanour this morning, I'll settle for the former but it certainly doesn't feel like the middle of May.  A quiet Sunday for once and horses all enjoying a stretch on the walker or out in the paddocks, a chance to make plans, pop up to Perth to check the track and then watch younger daughter Clare playing hockey against the old girls (shame big sis' isn't playing, that would have been fun but Uttoxeter beckons) then home for football and racing on TV this afternoon, the usual fight for the Sky controls, could be a dramatic afternoon!
Yearlings in the rain, both geldings by Flemensfirth, chesnut on the left brother to Buffalo Ballet, bay on the right out of a sister to a Gold Cup winner
